  • 1/4 cup crispy fried onion bits panko breadcrumbs can be substituted
  • 2 tablespoons scallions chives can be used as a substitute

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by removing the skin from the salmon and cutting it into 1-inch cubes. In a bowl, combine the salmon with teriyaki sauce and kosher salt. Toss to coat and set aside.
  2. Press cooked sushi rice into a small baking dish evenly. Spread the marinated salmon mixture over the rice.
  3. Broil the salmon dish for approximately 6 minutes until the salmon is caramelized and opaque.
  4. Top with diced avocado and drizzle spicy mayo over it. Sprinkle with furikake, crispy onion bits, and scallions.
  5. Serve warm immediately for the best flavors. Pair with pickled ginger or wasabi if desired.
