Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by cutting the beef chuck roast into uniform 2-3 inch chunks. Place the beef chunks into your slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the onion soup mix and brown gravy mix evenly over the beef, coating it thoroughly.
  3. Pour the apple cider vinegar over the seasoned beef, allowing it to seep between the chunks.
  4. Cover the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours until fork-tender.
  5. Prepare the mashed potatoes according to package instructions and warm the garlic bread in the oven.
