For the Marinade
  • 2 lbs Chicken Thighs or chicken breast
  • 1 cup Yogurt preferably low-fat
  • 2 tbsp Lime Juice or lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Cayenne Pepper adjust to taste
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Black Pepper
For the Spices
  • 1 tbsp Turmeric
  • 1 tbsp Cumin
  • 1 tbsp Garam Masala

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Rinse the chicken thighs and pat dry. Rub salt, pepper, and lime juice over them. Let sit for 15 minutes.
  2. Combine yogurt, cayenne, turmeric, cumin, garam masala, and salt & pepper in a bowl. Mix well.
  3. Coat each chicken thigh with the marinade, covering all sides. Refrigerate for 6 to 24 hours.
  4. Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C). Position oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source.
  5. Place marinated chicken on a wire rack over a baking sheet. Broil for 15-20 minutes until cooked.
  6. Remove from oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving hot.
