Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Boil a large pot of water. Add ramen noodles and cook for 3-4 minutes until al dente. Reserve 1/4 cup noodle water, then drain the noodles.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce and brown sugar until dissolved.
  3. Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the white part of green onions and garlic, sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Sprinkle in red chili flakes, stir for 30 seconds. Add soy sauce mixture and reserved noodle water, simmer for 1 minute.
  5. Add drained ramen to the skillet, toss for 1-2 minutes until noodles are coated.
  6. Serve the ramen in bowls, garnish with green onion tops and any additional veggies or proteins.
