Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine sourdough discard, all-purpose flour, baking powder, olive oil, and a pinch of salt. Stir until a shaggy dough forms. Allow the dough to rest for 10 minutes.
  2. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces, flatten each into a circle about 3 inches in diameter.
  3. Place mozzarella and other fillings on each dough circle, fold edges inward to seal.
  4. Roll each filled dough ball gently to create a smooth shape. Place them on a lined baking tray, sealed side down.
  5. Preheat oven to 375°F and bake for 18-20 minutes until golden-brown.
  6. Allow to cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with marinara sauce.
