Step-by-Step Instructions for Shrimp Sausage Dirty Rice
- In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium heat. Add 1 chopped onion and 1 cup of diced bell peppers, sautéing them for about 5 minutes.
- Stir in 3 minced garlic cloves and 12 ounces of sliced smoked sausage. Cook for an additional 5 to 7 minutes.
- Add 1 pound of deveined shrimp and 2 tablespoons of Cajun seasoning. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
