  • 1/2 cup Fresh Parsley, finely chopped Substitution: Fresh mint or cilantro can be great alternatives.
  • 1 tsp Salt Use kosher or sea salt for a cleaner taste.
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper Feel free to adjust to your taste.
  • 1 tbsp Seven Spice Blend If you don’t have it, mix cinnamon, allspice, and nutmeg.
  • 1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper, optional Omit if you prefer milder flavors.
To Serve
  • 4 pieces Fresh Pita Bread
  • 1 cup Hummus

Equipment

  • grill
  • Mixing bowl
  • skewers
  • Food processor

Method

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Begin by finely chopping the yellow onion and fresh parsley. Combine these chopped vegetables in a large mixing bowl.
  2. In a separate large bowl, combine the lean ground beef with the onion-parsley mix, salt, black pepper, seven spice blend, and optional cayenne pepper. Mix everything together thoroughly.
  3. Once your meat mixture is well combined, take a handful and mold it onto skewers, forming 1 to 1.5-inch thick logs.
  4. Prepare your grill by preheating it to medium-high heat, around 375°F to 450°F. Lightly oil the grill grates.
  5. Place the shaped kebabs on the preheated grill and cook for approximately 4 minutes on each side until a nice golden-brown crust forms.
  6. After grilling, carefully remove the kebabs from the skewers. Serve them hot with fresh pita bread and hummus.
