  2. Season chicken in a bowl with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Brown the chicken in olive oil for about 4 minutes, flipping until golden.
  4. Make the glaze by whisking together brown sugar, soy sauce, pineapple juice, rice vinegar, ginger, and cornstarch.
  5. Combine browned chicken with pineapple in the baking dish, pour the glaze over it, cover with foil, and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  6. Remove foil and bake uncovered for an additional 5-10 minutes to caramelize the glaze.
