Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook the manicotti shells according to the package directions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and cool.
- In a skillet over medium heat, add diced cooked chicken and sauté for 5-7 minutes until heated through. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Fill each manicotti shell with the chicken and cheese mixture using a spoon or piping bag.
- In a saucepan, melt 4 tablespoons of butter. Add garlic (or garlic powder) and sauté until fragrant. Stir in heavy cream and simmer, whisking in Parmesan until the sauce thickens.
- Pour a thin layer of Alfredo sauce into a baking dish. Arrange the filled manicotti shells side by side. Top with remaining sauce.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley or basil.
