- Cut one slice of sandwich bread in half. In a bowl, whisk together two large eggs, and season with salt and black pepper. Dip the bread halves in the egg mixture, coating one side, then set aside.
- Heat a frying pan over low heat and add a pat of butter. Once melted, pour in the remaining egg mixture to form a base. Place the egg-coated bread halves on top and cook for 3-4 minutes until set.
