Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 12-cup muffin pan by lining it with colorful muffin liners.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ½ cup of softened butter and 1 cup of granulated sugar. Cream them together for about 1-2 minutes until light and fluffy.
  3. Add 2 large eggs, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 3 tablespoons of milk, and 1 cup of mashed bananas to the butter-sugar mixture. Mix on low speed until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, ½ teaspoon of baking soda, and ½ teaspoon of salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to your wet ingredients.
  5. Fill each muffin cup about ¾ full with the batter.
  6. Spoon approximately 1 teaspoon of Nutella onto the top of each muffin batter portion. Swirl the Nutella into the batter gently.
  7. Place the muffin pan in your preheated oven and bake for about 15-17 minutes. They are ready when a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Once baked, allow them to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
