- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 12-cup muffin pan by lining it with colorful muffin liners.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ½ cup of softened butter and 1 cup of granulated sugar. Cream them together for about 1-2 minutes until light and fluffy.
- Add 2 large eggs, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 3 tablespoons of milk, and 1 cup of mashed bananas to the butter-sugar mixture. Mix on low speed until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, ½ teaspoon of baking soda, and ½ teaspoon of salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to your wet ingredients.
- Fill each muffin cup about ¾ full with the batter.
- Spoon approximately 1 teaspoon of Nutella onto the top of each muffin batter portion. Swirl the Nutella into the batter gently.
- Place the muffin pan in your preheated oven and bake for about 15-17 minutes. They are ready when a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Once baked, allow them to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
