  • 8 ounces Pasta fettuccine, linguine, or penne
For the Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Butter for the creamy sauce
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth homemade or store-bought
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Lemon Juice add off heat to prevent curdling
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Zest for added flavor
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream room temperature
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese freshly grated
  • ½ cup Reserved Pasta Water to adjust sauce consistency
For Garnishing
  • ¼ cup Fresh Parsley chopped
  • ¼ cup Extra Parmesan Cheese for serving

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta until al dente, reserving ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then heat olive oil in a skillet and sear chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side.
  3. Reduce heat, add butter, and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  4. Deglaze skillet with lemon juice and chicken broth, simmering for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and parmesan cheese, mixing until smooth, then add lemon zest.
  6. Combine cooked pasta and sliced chicken with sauce, adjusting consistency with reserved pasta water.
  7. Garnish with parsley and additional parmesan cheese before serving immediately.
