Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Kielbasa and Pierogi Bake
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare your ingredients while the oven warms up.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add a touch of oil and sliced kielbasa. Cook for about 5–7 minutes until browned and crispy. Add onions and cook for an additional 5–6 minutes until caramelized.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine sour cream and softened cream cheese. Mix until smooth.
  4. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the frozen pierogies, half of the kielbasa and onion mixture, and half of the cheddar cheese. Repeat with the remaining ingredients.
  5. Pour the creamy sauce evenly over the top, ensuring it covers everything.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until heated through and bubbling.
  7. Remove the foil, sprinkle remaining cheese on top, and broil on high for 2–3 minutes until melted and golden.
  8. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve.
