  • 1/2 cup Softened Butter unsalted recommended

  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar no substitutions
For the Topping
  • 1 cup Reese's Pieces substitute with chopped peanuts if desired

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Line a 9x13 inch baking sheet with parchment paper, pressing it firmly to avoid air bubbles.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, and vegetable oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth—about 1.5 to 2 minutes.
  3. Pour half of the melted chocolate mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it evenly. Refrigerate for about 15 minutes.
  4. In a new bowl, mix creamy peanut butter, softened butter, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar. Use an electric mixer to beat for 2-3 minutes until fluffy.
  5. Once the chocolate layer is firm, spoon the peanut butter filling over the chocolate and spread it evenly.
  6. Pour the remaining melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer, smoothing it with a spatula.
  7. Sprinkle the Reese's Pieces on top, lightly pressing them in. Return to the refrigerator and chill for 30-45 minutes.
  8. After chilling, lift the bark from the baking sheet using the overhanging parchment paper. Cut into squares or break into pieces to serve.
