Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and active dry yeast. Stir gently and let it sit for 5-10 minutes until bubbly.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the yeast mixture with melted butter, vegetable oil, and salt. Gradually add flour, mixing until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm area for 1-1.5 hours until doubled in size.
  5. Punch down the dough, divide into 12 pieces, and shape into smooth balls. Arrange in a greased baking dish.
  6. Cover the rolls and allow them to rise for another 30 minutes until puffy.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and hollow-sounding when tapped.
  8. Brush with melted butter and honey mixture after baking, allow to cool slightly before serving.
