- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out your pizza dough to about 1/2 inch thick. Cut into strips approximately 1 inch wide.
- Take each strip of dough and tie it into a knot, tucking the ends slightly. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Melt the unsalted butter and stir in minced garlic, parsley, salt, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.
- Brush the garlic butter mixture over each knot, reserving some for later.
- Bake the knots for about 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and brush with remaining garlic butter. Let cool slightly before serving.
