  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes Sliced
  • 1 cup Cucumbers Chopped or diced
  • 1/4 cup Red Onion Thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup Pepperoncini Peppers Sliced
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano Dried or fresh
  • to taste Salt

  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil For drizzling
  • 1/4 cup Herbs (Parsley, Mint, Chives) Finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Sumac or Paprika For garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Toasted Pine Nuts Optional
  • 1 slices Lemon For garnish

Method
 

Hummus Preparation
  1. Begin by taking your store-bought or homemade hummus, placing it in a shallow serving dish or bowl. Use a spatula to spread the hummus evenly across the bottom, reaching all the edges.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine diced cherry tomatoes, chopped cucumbers, thinly sliced red onion, sliced Kalamata olives, and pepperoncini peppers. Add minced garlic, oregano, and a pinch of salt and pepper for seasoning.
  3. Using a large spoon, generously spoon the prepared vegetable mixture over the smooth layer of hummus.
  4. Drizzle a generous amount of olive oil over the top of the loaded hummus and sprinkle freshly chopped herbs and a dash of sumac or paprika.
  5. Serve immediately with an assortment of dippers like pita chips, sliced cucumbers, and baby carrots.
