Marinade Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, combine ¼ cup of olive oil, 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard, and 4 cloves of minced garlic. Add 2 tablespoons each of chopped fresh rosemary and thyme, along with the juice of one lemon, 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Whisk until blended.
Marinating Steaks
- Place steaks into a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well-coated. Seal or cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Grilling Steaks
- Preheat grill to high heat (450°F to 500°F). Allow to heat for at least 10 minutes before adding steaks.
- Remove steaks from marinade, discarding remaining marinade. Grill for approximately 6-8 minutes per side for medium doneness.
- Aim for an internal temperature of about 135°F.
Resting and Serving
- Transfer grilled steaks to a cutting board and cover loosely with aluminum foil. Let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain.
