Preparation Steps
- Chop one ripe pear and slice fresh ginger. In a cocktail shaker, add the chopped pear and ginger slices, then muddle them together for about 1-2 minutes.
- Pour in honey or preferred sweetener along with freshly squeezed lemon juice into the shaker. Seal tightly and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
- Prepare two tall glasses by filling them halfway with ice. Strain the muddled mixture into the glasses.
- Slowly top off each glass with sparkling water or club soda, filling them to the rim.
- Garnish each glass with thin slices of pear or a twist of ginger. Serve immediately.
