Making Garlic Parmesan Focaccia Bread
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, salt, and instant yeast. Gradually stir in olive oil and warm water until a sticky dough forms. Cover with plastic wrap and let it rise in a warm area for 1-2 hours until doubled in size.
  2. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with olive oil. Transfer dough to the pan, stretching to reach edges. Rest for 30 minutes.
  3. Combine additional olive oil with minced garlic and a pinch of salt in a small saucepan. Heat gently over low flame for 2-3 minutes until fragrant. Cool slightly.
  4. Press deep dimples into the dough, drizzle cooled garlic oil over the surface, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and fresh herbs.
  5. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and bake focaccia for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Let the focaccia cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then cut into squares or strips for serving.
