Step-by-Step Instructions for Easy Homemade Garlic Knots
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough to about 1/2 inch thick and cut into strips approximately 1 inch wide.
  3. Tie each strip of dough into a knot and place onto the lined baking sheet with space in between.
  4. Melt the unsalted butter and stir in minced garlic, parsley, salt, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.
  5. Brush the garlic butter generously over each knot, reserving some for later.
  6. Bake the knots for about 12-15 minutes, until golden brown and crispy outside, soft inside.
  7. Brush the remaining garlic butter over the knots immediately after baking.
