  • 0.5 cup Oat Flour or almond flour, or rolled oats

  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips definitely not optional!
For the Optional Coating
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips for melting, optional but recommended
  • 1 teaspoon Coconut Oil or maple syrup for drizzling

Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Chocolate Workout Bars
  1. Prepare Your Pan: Line an 8-inch square pan with parchment paper, ensuring it hangs over the edges for easy removal.
  2. Blend the Base: Drain and rinse one can of black beans, then transfer to a food processor. Add salt, nut butter (or oil), pure maple syrup, cocoa powder, and oat flour. Blend until smooth.
  3. Mix in the Chocolate Chips: Transfer mixture to a large bowl and stir in the chocolate chips using a spatula.
  4. Spread and Freeze: Pour mixture into the lined pan and spread evenly using a spatula. Place in the freezer for about 30 minutes.
  5. Optional Chocolate Coating: Melt chocolate chips with a teaspoon of coconut oil. Once bars are set, pour melted chocolate over the top and freeze for an additional 10-15 minutes.
