  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil For brushing tortillas
For the Au Jus
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) beef consommé Rich flavor for dipping sauce
  • 1 cup water To dilute consommé
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce Adds depth to the au jus
  • 2 teaspoons low sodium soy sauce Enhances umami flavor
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder Enhances flavor

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Lay one tortilla flat. Layer two slices of provolone, followed by roast beef and a sprinkle of fried onions.
  3. Roll the tortilla tightly from the filled end, sealing in the contents.
  4. Brush the tops and sides of the roll ups with olive oil.
  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy.
  6. While baking, combine consommé, water, Worcestershire, soy sauce, onion powder, and garlic powder in a saucepan.
  7. Allow roll ups to rest for 2 minutes, then slice and serve with au jus.
