Baking Steps
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar on medium speed until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg, milk, and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. Gradually incorporate the flour, hot cocoa mix, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt until just combined.
  5. Fold in the marshmallow bits and chocolate chips.
  6. Portion the dough onto the baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until edges are set and centers are soft.
  8. Press extra marshmallow bits and chocolate chips onto warm cookies after removing from the oven.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 to 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
