Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large pot over medium heat, cook bacon until crispy, about 5–7 minutes. Remove and let drain, leaving fat in the pot.
  2. Add olive oil and butter to the pot. Once melted, add chopped red onion and minced garlic. Sauté for 4–5 minutes until onion is translucent.
  3. Stir in Italian seasoning, sea salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder. Cook for 1 minute to enhance flavors.
  4. Sprinkle in flour while stirring to eliminate raw taste. Gradually whisk in chicken broth, heavy cream, and white wine. Simmer for 5–7 minutes.
  5. Add broken lasagna noodles and shredded cooked chicken. Simmer for 10–12 minutes until noodles are tender.
  6. Stir in mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, and chopped kale. Cook for an additional 3–5 minutes until cheeses are melted and greens wilted.
  7. Ladle into bowls, garnish with extra cheese or fresh herbs if desired. Serve immediately with crusty bread.
