Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chicken thighs, salt, garlic powder, sweet paprika, curry powder, and Greek yogurt. Coat the chicken evenly and marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook the marinated chicken thighs for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium, add 2 tablespoons of butter, and sauté minced garlic and diced onion for 4-5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the tomato sauce and sugar, simmer for 2-3 minutes. Return the chicken and add ½ cup of heavy cream.
  5. Add cayenne pepper, garam masala, curry powder, and black pepper. Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Stir in 1 tablespoon of cold butter until melted and incorporated.
