Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a large jar or carafe, pour in the dry red wine, followed by a splash of bourbon and chilled apple cider. Add thinly sliced apples and oranges, cinnamon sticks, and fresh ginger. Stir gently to blend all flavors.
  2. Cover the jar or carafe and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  3. When ready to enjoy, remove from the refrigerator. For a chilled serving, fill a glass with ice and pour the sangria over it.
  4. For a warm serving, pour the sangria into a large saucepan over low heat, gently warming for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Serve immediately in glasses, garnished with fresh rosemary or mint.
