Method
 

Preparation and Cooking Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Slice the sweet onions into uniform rings and layer in the baking dish.
  3. Drizzle melted butter over onions and sprinkle with garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  4. Distribute cheddar, Monterey Jack, and Parmesan cheese on top of the seasoned onions.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  6. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is golden.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
